ABOUT ME

JT is a NYC based, multi-hyphenate artist. Raised in a biracial home in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. His training began at Interlochen Arts Academy and continued at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). JT sends love to his Interlochen and Bearcat family!

With a smile on his face, JT leads with curiosity and brings well of positivity to every room he enters. He values kindness, creativity, hard work, and respect above all else. Falling on the ADHD spectrum, JT has a unique perspective to share with others. On a daily basis, you will find him singing, hitting the gym, and reading. He hopes the courage he holds to be himself inspires others to face the world with their individual perspectives.

JT faced a unique challenge his junior year of college. Struck by an electric bicycle, he broke his leg and had to drop classes and productions. Refusing to be taken down, JT completed rigorous PT and was back in dance classes within 2 months. With his newfound free time, JT co-directed the US debut of “Mom is Growing Smaller” (or “Mamá Está Más Chiquita”), a musical by Argentinian playwrights Ignacio Olivera and Juan Pablo Schapira. Nothing will stop JT from creating theatre he is passionate about.

When he isn't performing, JT loves journaling, walks, time with friends, and playing video games. JT LOVES POKEMON. His team of 6 would include Psyduck, Horsea, Kriketune, Dedenne, Umbreon, and Skelederge.
